Despite a four point lead at the half (39-35), the Panthers let a series of final minute fouls come between them and a home win tonight vs LA Southwest College. Chijindu Egeonu with 16 points including two 3s. Isaiah Barcello added 15 and was 8:9 from the freethrow line.
Catching up with Head Coach Jeff Klein after the game he summarized, "We played hard and executed the game plan for the first 40 minutes. We just came up short iin the last two. I'm proud of the guys and their effort tonight."
The men take it on the road, playing at Santa Ana Wednesday. The game vs the Dons will be played at 2pm.
