The Chaffey College volleyball team fell in straight sets to Mt. San Jacinto College (25-16, 25-17, 25-18) on Friday evening. The Panthers showed consistent energy throughout the match, producing their strongest offensive rhythm in the third set.
Bria Love continued to pace the Panthers' attack, recording a team-high nine kills along with 10 digs to complete another solid two-way performance. Emma Rhodes followed with five kills and added a service ace, while Lauren Medina tallied three kills. Natalia Frausto directed the offense with 12 assists and contributed three digs, while Chloe Pulido added four assists and helped steady the backcourt. Kasey Quevedo contributed with three kills and Grace Hoang provided defensive stability with 11 digs.
As a team, Chaffey finished with 23 kills, 40 digs, and four service aces, showing improved offensive consistency in the later sets.
Chaffey is now 0-5 in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference. The Panthers will now prepare to compete against Victor Valley College on Friday, Oct. 24, at 5 p.m.
