Chaffey Drops Straight Sets to the Bobcats

The Chaffey College volleyball team came up short against Saddleback College, falling in straight sets 25-13, 25-11, 25-9 at the Sports Center on Wednesday night. The Panthers had moments of momentum, but the Bobcats' consistent attack kept them in control of the match.

Emma Rhodes led the team with eight kills on 14 attempts, while Bria Love added six kills and four digs. Lauren Medina had two kills and a dig, and Kasey Quevedo registered a kill and a block assist at the net. Chloe Pulido recorded nine assists and added two digs, while Natalia Frausto contributed six assists. Grace Hoang tallied five digs, Aviana Langston added two digs and a service ace, and Rachel Buck contributed with two digs.

As a team, the Panthers finished with 19 kills, two service aces, and 20 digs.

The Panthers will now turn their attention to conference play, hosting Victor Valley College on Wednesday, October 1, at 5 p.m.
