The Chaffey College volleyball team took to the court on Wednesday night but fell in straight sets to Pasadena City College, 25-9, 25-10, 25-6, at the Sports Center.
Bria Love led Chaffey's attack with five kills and added six digs, while Lauren Medina added two kills. Natalia Frausto provided steady setting with a team-high five assists to go along with a kill, and Grace Hoang was active in serve-receive with four digs and two service aces. From the net, Kasey Quevedo and Daija Harmon each recorded a kill, while Maya Garza added one as well. Chloe Pulido directed portions of the offense with three assists and contributed a dig, while Madalyn Ayers-Morris and Emma Rhodes combined for two digs defensively.
Collectively, Chaffey finished with 11 kills, two service aces, and 20 digs against the Lancers.
The Panthers will remain at home for their final pre-conference match of the season, hosting Saddleback College on Wednesday, September 24, at 6:00 p.m.
