The ladies hosted Mira Costa and East LA for a three-way tourney Saturday, falling to Mira Costa 3-2. In a game that went back and forth, the Spartans emerged victorious with a final 15-11 set. Kendall Mency, Jazel Perez, and Emily Silva posted an impressive 33 of the Panthers' 43 kills. The team plays again at home Wednesday v Imperial Valley.
