Chaffey Athletics Welcomes Daniel Feola to Women's Swimming and Diving
Chaffey College Athletics has announced the hiring of Daniel Feola as the new head coach of Women's Swimming and Diving, beginning in Spring 2026.
Daniel Feola brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to the Chaffey College Women's Swimming program, having established a long and successful career in Southern California aquatics. Before joining Chaffey, Feola served as the head coach for boys and girls swimming and water polo at San Dimas High School, where he guided the programs to sustained success across more than a decade and a half.
Since beginning his coaching tenure at San Dimas in 2009, Feola led his swim and water polo teams to 26 league championships, consistently building competitive, disciplined and high-achieving programs. His boys' swim team earned CIF Southern Section runner-up honors in 2017, and he coached 10 individual CIF champions during his time at the helm. Under his leadership, the San Dimas Boys' Water Polo team captured the CIF title in 2022, marking one of the program's most successful seasons in school history.
Feola's achievements have been recognized across the region as a four-time San Gabriel Valley Tribune Coach of the Year and a CIF Coach of the Year. His dedication to athlete development extends beyond competition, emphasizing teamwork, accountability and academic excellence in every program he leads.
A former student-athlete himself, Feola played two seasons of water polo at Mt. San Antonio College before continuing his athletic career as a collegiate swimmer at the University of La Verne. Feola earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of La Verne and holds a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Sciences. From 2008 to 2024, he served as an educator and coach at San Dimas High School, where he played an integral role in fostering both athletic and academic success among his students.
Outside of his professional career, Feola enjoys spending time with his wife, Madison, and their two sons, Luca and Cooper. When away from the pool, he can often be found camping, boating, mountain biking, or following his favorite sports teams. His passion for developing student-athletes is matched by his enthusiasm for community and family, values he continues to carry into his role at Chaffey College.
