The defending champion Women's Soccer squad took to the field yesterday to open the IEAC season against College of the Desert. In typical Panther fashion, Chaffey scored early putting two on the board within the first 15 minutes. By the end of the 1st half, Chaffey was up 3-1. Not ones to coast in the 2nd period, Chaffey continued the force adding three more to the board. Kayla Bergin led the day with three goals scored.
Autumn Gomez and Marissa Betancourt shared net duty with 7 saves total.
The women continue conference play Wednesday hosting San Bernardino Valley but will host Cerritos first on Monday at 1.
