The Panthers were on the road yesterday taking on El Camino to close out the first week of the competitive season.
At the half, it didn't look good for the Chaffey squad as they trailed the Warriors by 20, 37-17. After the break, the Panthers came out strong out scoring ECC in both of the final periods of play and closing out the game down by six, 59-53.
Sophomore guard Elyanna Rios led the Panthers with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Jaylyn Edmonds added 13 to the board, Trinity Walker 11.
Chaffey returns home Tuesday to play Northern California's Porterville College at 5 pm.
