David Hoover - Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator, Football

Bio

Dave Hoover comes to Chaffey College as the Offensive Coordinator with a wealth of successful coaching experience.  Dave has been a part of championship programs at the high school, junior college, and major college levels.  Coach has extensive experience at the Division One level, including stints at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Long Beach State University, Eastern Michigan University, and the University of Massachusetts.

In 2000 Coach Hoover took over a struggling program at Victor Valley College and within three years had that team playing in its first bowl game in school history.  Every offensive record in the school history was established in Hoover's tenure, including a top ten ranking in the nation in total offense.  Numerous athletes received All-State and All-American status while playing for Coach Hoover.  He left VVC as the wins leader in school history.

Highlights of Coach Hoover's career include coaching for the legendary George Allen while at Long Beach State, winning a National Championship at the University of Massachusetts, and being nationally ranked while at VVC.

Coach Hoover looks forward to being a part of the winning tradition at Chaffey College, and helping young athletes achieve their dreams of playing college football at the highest level possible.
